This is the first trombone poetry album - a jazz-themed collection - recorded at Butcher's Shop Studio.
The album features original compositions for solo trombone, with improvisations in traditional and modern styles. Poems include tributes to saxophonist Steve Lacy, poet Charles Bukowski and trombonist Bert Moray, and various barbed ruminations on the musician's life.
